KAMO Power is seeking a detail-oriented Software Architect Sr. This exempt position is responsible for developing architectural guidelines and software designs or applications based on business needs and data concepts at our Vinita, Oklahoma facility. This role plays a key part in collaborating with other departments within KAMO Power, its member cooperatives, and their vendors, and consultants to understand business needs and transform those needs into productive enterprise applications for both large and small projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop software processes and applications based on the business needs of KAMO Power and its member cooperatives.
• Design technical software solutions and serve as a technical lead while collaborating with peers across the organization.
• Collaborate with departments, vendors, consultants, and member cooperatives to transform business needs into productive enterprise applications for both large and small projects.
• Maintain involvement throughout the entire project lifecycle, including development, deployment, maintenance, and future upgrades.
Qualifications:

KAMO Power is seeking a detail-oriented Transmission System Operator II. This non-exempt position is responsible for assisting with monitoring and controlling the transmission system, coordinating outage restoration efforts, maintaining operational logs and reports, supporting switching and clearance procedures, and communicating with field personnel at our Vinita, Oklahoma facility. This role plays a key part in helping ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the bulk electric transmission system by responding to outages and alarms, supporting system restoration efforts, and maintaining compliance with operating procedures and NERC standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and assist in controlling transmission system operations, including power flows, voltage levels, equipment alarms, and SCADA system activity to maintain reliable electric service.
• Coordinate outage response and restoration efforts by dispatching personnel, communicating with neighboring utilities, and supporting switching and clearance procedures.
• Maintain accurate operational records and system logs, including outages, breaker operations, communications, and system disturbances.
• Support compliance with NERC standards, company operating procedures, and required training and certification programs while developing knowledge of bulk electric system operations.
Qualifications:
• Associate’s Degree preferred in electrical power-related discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an electrical related field or two (2) years of experience as a System Operator I required.
• Working knowledge of:
– AC/DC equipment including transformers and storage batteries
– electric circuits and one-line diagrams
– System operations, relaying circuits, and troubleshooting system problems

This non-exempt position is responsible for monitoring and operating equipment that regulates and distributes electricity, dispatching personnel during outage events, and maintaining accurate operational records. This position plays a key part in ensuring reliable electric service, coordinating outage restoration efforts, and supporting emergency response operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Dispatch personnel to restore electric service while following all safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor power flows, voltages, amperages, and equipment alarms to ensure reliable system operation.
• Communicate with cooperative personnel regarding outages, emergencies, and equipment failures.
• Maintain accurate outage logs, operational records, and system information.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or two-year technical degree in an electrical-related field preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of customer service center or emergency services experience preferred; cooperative or utility experience preferred; one (1) year of utility dispatching experience preferred.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of:
